Data collected
The website has no form, client area or audience measurement tool. The firm may process:
- technical connection data (IP address, browser type), recorded by our hosting provider to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website;
- data you send us voluntarily, in particular by e-mail or telephone (identity, contact details, content of your messages, applications).
Purposes and legal bases
This data is processed to respond to your requests, manage relations with our clients and contacts, review applications, ensure the security of the website and comply with the legal and ethical obligations of the legal profession. Depending on the case, processing is based on pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, the firm’s legitimate interest or your consent.
The firm may send information about its activities. These mailings may be sent via the Mailjet service, which measures whether they are opened. Each mailing includes an unsubscribe link.
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties.
Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then archived or deleted in accordance with applicable regulations and the rules of the legal profession.
Recipients
Your data is intended solely for authorised members of the firm. It may be processed by technical service providers acting on the firm’s behalf (website hosting, e-mail, IT maintenance), who are bound by confidentiality. Where a provider is located outside the European Union, appropriate safeguards govern the transfer, in accordance with the GDPR.
Cookies
The website sets a single cookie, pll_language, which remembers the browsing language (French or English). As it is strictly necessary for the website to function, it is exempt from consent. The website uses no audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies.
The maps on the Offices pages are provided by OpenStreetMap; displaying them sends your IP address to this service and to the provider of the mapping library (unpkg.com), without setting any cookie. The links to X and LinkedIn transmit no data unless you click on them.
Security
The firm implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to give instructions regarding your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to [adresse protégée]. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). For processing relating to the Geneva office, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection also applies, under the supervision of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
